If you’d like to support my work without making a purchase right away, consider becoming a Jen Fries Arts patron. You may opt for occasional donations as a Donor Patron, or become a Supporting Patron with fixed monthly donations. Here’s how:
Donor Patrons
In today’s economy, not everyone can take on yet another fixed, monthly subscription, but you don’t have to. If you would like to support Jen Fries Arts as a Donor Patron, you can make a donation of any amount that fits your personal budget, starting as low as $1.00US, at any time that fits your cash flow.
Maybe single annual donations suit you best. Maybe you can do monthly donations but not always the same amount. Or maybe you need to skip a few months and then take up again by donating half the value of your canceled Amazon Prime. 😉 If this is your flow (as it is mine, btw), then becoming a Donor Patron may work for you.
You can go straight to my Paypal and set your donation amount with most major credit cards. There is no need to open a new user account and no obligation for further donations unless you so choose.
I am experimenting with ways for Donor Patrons to use Patreon for single payments, for those who prefer that platform. Follow Jen Fries Arts for updates on that.
Supporting Patrons
If you can afford fixed, monthly payments, then consider becoming a Supporting Patron for $5.00US a month or any other amount you choose.
You can use either Patreon or Paypal to sign up and have your monthly donations automatically billed to you or debited from your designated account. Patreon is preset for $5/month. With Paypal, you have the option to set a different amount for your monthly donations. Of course, with both options, you can cancel at any time, no questions asked.
Benefits of Becoming a Patron
Studio Credit
Every donation you make to Jen Fries Arts is recorded as a credit towards a future purchase of my work. It’s rather like store credit, those rechargeable cards we can add value to whenever we like and redeem later for cool stuff. We have store credits for coffee, pizza, books, clothing, everything. This one is for art and writing created by me.
Donor and Supporting Patrons help me keep the lights on and the coffee flowing now, while they accrue credit they can apply to purchase any of my creative work in future. Your credit will never expire, so if you are sure you want to own some of my work, becoming a Patron is a great way to save up for it.
Patrons also enjoy:
- Patron-exclusive content and gifts in the Newsletter or on Patreon.
- Invitations to in-person and virtual events.
- Early notice of new work and projects.
- And other expressions of my appreciation.
There are some rules, so read full details on Studio Credit here.
